One of the most effective ways to achieve your goals, as Bernadette Jiwa says, is to examine what kind of effect will what you’re about to do have on your overall journey.
Consider how it aligns with your values, what you’re getting out of it, how long it will take to finish.
Doing so might help you realize that your time could be better spent doing something else, or alternatively, give you a nice productivity boost by bringing into your awareness that the task at hand will bring you one step closer to where you want to be in the long run.
We make more right moves when we reflect on how the next thing we’re about to do aligns with our values, and if it’s helping us to get to where we ultimately want to go.
Until Next Week
Slow down, stop for a moment, reflect, and carefully consider what you’re about to do. It’ll make a world of difference.
