Celebrate Small Wins
I’ve found that small wins, small projects, small differences often make huge differences. — Rosabeth Moss Kanter
We tend to focus on the big picture, big goals, and milestones, but in the process forget to notice the small, daily things. We forget to acknowledge our wins when they don’t meet some imaginary criteria of greatness.
Celebrating every step we successfully take can be a great motivation tool, incentivize us to make another step, and another one after that.
Celebrate your wins, no matter how small they are.
Celebrate your progress, no matter how small. Don’t rob yourself of the collective joy of each of those wins. Enjoy the ride.
How to make your small wins work for you
Once a small win has been accomplished, forces are set in motion to favor another small win and another small win until the combination of these small wins leads to larger and greater accomplishments.
Until Next Week
Even if it’s just something silly like a note in your daily planner, try to make a conscious effort to notice and acknowledge little things and little wins.
