Don’t Follow the Crowd
When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you. — Lao Tzu
It’s very easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves with others. We all do it. It’s because we seem to forget that we are on our own unique path, and hence, all comparisons with others are irrelevant and meaningless.
Others might be at different stages in their career, relationship or life, so don’t worry about them. You do you, and let them worry about their choices, accomplishments, and lives.
Instead of looking to others, we should focus on ourselves and compare ourselves only to our past selves.
Scared of Doing What You Want To Do
Stop rubbernecking and comparing yourself to others and just worry about yourself.
Why Most People Will Remain in Mediocrity
Your most important goals for long-term success should be experiential learning and personal transformation.
Don’t Be Too Attached to Who You’ve Been
The best way to improve your life is one day at a time.
Why Some People Succeed (And Others Don’t)
The difference between the ones who make and the ones who don’t is quitting.
Until Next Week
Don’t worry about what anybody else has, about their goals, accomplishments, and achievements. Worry about yourself and the stuff you do, and strive to be better than you were yesterday.
That’s the only thing that matters. That’s the only way you can improve and stay true to yourself.
