Tiny Choices

"A small behavioral change can also lead to embracing a wider checklist of healthier choices." — Chuck Norris

Each and every day we make a dozen, if not hundreds, of tiny choices. We don’t think about them, let alone dwell on them. But they add up. And over time, they add up significantly.

Eating a healthy meal today might not make a difference to your health, but choosing a healthy meal every day will soon compound and make a dent in your overall wellbeing.

What if you apply this type of thinking to everything you do in the course of a day? What if you make a habit of watching an educational video instead of a funny one? What if, instead of making a snarky comment, you choose to help someone? What if you decide to be less angry and frustrated, and more understanding and passionate?

And what if you start thinking about tiny choices like these and make better decisions regularly and consistently?

PS. As always, approach any change with a skeptical and optimistic determination. You don’t have to completely shift your behavior overnight. Just try to keep in mind that tiny changes and tiny choices have a tremendous impact in the long run.
