It’s Not for Everyone
The kind of work that doesn’t deserve criticism doesn’t deserve praise. — Jeff Goins
People often fall into the trap of thinking that their art/product/writing is for everyone. It rarely is. And even more importantly, it shouldn’t be.
Trying to reach everyone will water down your message, push you into mediocrity and you’ll end up reaching no-one. Instead, try to reach a small number of people who might actually care about what you have to say.
Your goal should never be to create something for everyone, but rather something for someone.
Your Work Is Not for Everyone
The kind of work that doesn’t deserve criticism doesn’t deserve praise. Don’t create something for everyone. Create something for someone.
It’s Not for Everyone
The goal isn’t to serve everyone. The goal is to serve the right people.
